AKC CHIHUAHUA PUPPIES ~ LONG AND SMOOTH COAT VARIETIES

We offer AKC Microchipping and limited or full AKC registration with
most of our AKC papered puppies. Some "pet quality" puppies will be
offered without papers for a lower adoption fee. Below is some
important information about registration, microchipping, our
spay/neuter agreement , general conditions of adoption, deposits,
pricing, delivery and our health guarantee.
Size, show prospects and breeders
A “Show Prospect” does not mean it will win the in the show ring; there are a lot of variables that are important that
are not in our control when this dog is shown. There are many factors that can influence growth and development,
such as diet, exercise, weight gain, etc. We CANNOT guarantee sizes as adults, we give estimated guesses, the size
chart posted on some websites is not always correct. Some Chihuahua puppies can just stop growing and others get
larger than expected.  Size, color, and temperament of the puppy cannot be guaranteed. We can also not guarantee
any puppy to be a successful breeder.
Health Guarantee
We have done everything possible to produce healthy sound puppies, by raising the puppies with the best possible
diet, exercise, socialization and veterinary care. We represent that the puppy has no known disease or illness,
and has no known congenital or hereditary conditions that would adversely affect the health of the pup at the
time of sale or that is likely to adversely affect the health of the pup in the future. We are not responsible to new
owner for payment of veterinarian fees for examinations, vaccinations, x-rays, or any other medical treatments
for the pup in the future. All appropriate vaccinations for the age of the PUPPY have been given, and a record of
this vaccination history and dewormings that were administered to the PUPPY is supplied.
We have administered only the basic deworming product and cannot be held accountable for a problem arising
after the PUPPY is delivered to the NEW OWNER. We will not be accountable for adverse reactions that may
occur because of vaccinations administered by the NEW OWNER’S veterinarian. Our guarantee does not cover
Parvo, which is very contagious even if given Neopar, which last only 14 days, so do not take your puppy out till all
vaccines are given. This guarantee does not cover parasites (internal or external), Coccidiosis, Giardia,
Hypoglycemia, Hepatitis, or Mites. Loose stools or Coccidian can be caused by stress and can develop within
hours. This guarantee does not cover injuries because the PUPPY was physically harmed in any way or injuries
caused by a fall or cerebral injuries due to any circumstance. This guarantee does not cover the following minor
flaws or any condition that is minor and those that can be corrected by veterinarian intervention.  ~ Hernias (of
any kind) or Testicles (not descending). This guarantee does not cover allergies that the NEW OWNER or his
family members may develop to the PUPPY. It is the responsibility of the NEW OWNER to assure that proper care
is given should Hypoglycemia symptoms (low blood sugar) occur. The NEW OWNER agrees not to hold the us
accountable at any time if a vet service is required to care for the sick PUPPY.
Spay/Neuter Contract
Our Chihuahuas offered as ''Pets" ~ This means the puppy can not be used for any type of breeding program.
All of our "Pet" AKC puppies come with a spay/neuter contract in which the NEW OWNER will agree the PUPPY will not
be bred and will be spayed /neutered at the appropriate age of 6-9 months, and written veterinarian confirmation of
this procedure must mailed to the BREEDER. Limited AKC registration paperwork will be forwarded to buyer upon receipt
of spay/neuter certificate from a licensed veterinarian.
AKC Microchipping
A microchip implant is a small inert device placed under the dog's skin. Microchips are extremely useful in the quick and
accurate return of lost pets and can also assist when the ownership of an animal is in dispute. Collars are often lost or
removed while the animal is straying, AKC microchipping is a valuable resource for the new owner to have in case of loss
or theft of your Chihuahua puppy/dog, is free to transfer new owner info and can be done safely as early as 8 weeks of
age. The implants are about the size of a large grain of rice and contain a unique number which can be scanned through
the skin. The microchip number can then be matched against a nationwide database to find the registered owner's
contact information.  Inserting a microchip is the very similar to giving a vaccination. It is inserted between the shoulder
blades through the use of a sterile needle-like applicator. There may be a pinch at the moment of insertion but it's over
in a second. No adverse health effects have been known to result from microchip implants in animals. It is possible to
feel the microchip under the animal's skin but it does not cause discomfort to do so.
In California, veterinarians and animal shelters are required by law to scan every animal coming in to the facility for
sheltering. A special scanner is used which will detect a microchip when passed over the animal. If there is a microchip
present a number unique to that chip will be displayed on the scanner's screen. This number can then be checked
against a database and the registered owner's details found.
Our adoption fees start at $150.00 for un-papered  "Pet" quality puppies, average fee for limited AKC is $500.00 and
adoption fees start at around $800.00 for full AKC registration with breeding rights. A signed contract is required for
adoption of any puppy and full payment is due at time of delivery; in cash, US postal or Wal-Mart money orders only.

We DO NOT ship our puppies, we will deliver your puppy ourselves, if it can be arranged. Delivery fee is based on
distance, weather, gas prices,  and airfare rates. Delivery fee must be paid in full prior to delivery and if puppy is flown
with a nanny, puppy must be picked up at airport by new owner.
We accept Wal-Mart "green dot" reload money cards for safe transfer of deposit and delivery funds. This way no money
is sent in US mail and no personal info is required to purchase a green dot re-load card at Wal-Mart. Deposit can be
applied to the puppy of your choice within an hour of emailing us the re-load number. It's quick, it's easy and it's safe.
Full or Limited AKC registration
Full AKC registration gives the buyer the right to breed &/or show the puppy when it is breeding/show age. If full registration
rights are granted it means the puppy seems to be of breeding &/or show quality at the time of sale. However, different things
can happen as the puppy grows that would disqualify it for breeding &/or show purposes. We cannot guarantee that your
puppy will be show or breeding quality, nor can we guarantee the size that the puppy will be full grown.
Limited registration means that the dog is ineligible to be entered in a breed competition, and all offspring are ineligible for
AKC registration. But the dog/puppy can compete in events such as obedience, rally and agility.
Limited Registration helps us protect our breeding program. If we do not want our puppies used for AKC  breeding
purposes, we can require the Limited Registration option for those puppies.
Limited registration can be upgraded to full registration with the permission of the breeder.
General Conditions
We let our puppies go with the understanding that they will live indoors, be socialized properly, and become a member of the
family. This PUPPY is not to be placed in an animal shelter of any kind. The NEW OWNER hereby agrees that if at any time the
NEW OWNER cannot take proper care of the PUPPY, the NEW OWNER will contact the BREEDER. The BREEDER will have the
first choice to either: (a) take the PUPPY back with all registration papers and vet records or (b) assist the NEW OWNER in
finding a suitable home for the PUPPY. The NEW OWNER agrees to provide a suitable fenced area with shelter, and clean
water at all times for this puppy. The NEW OWNER agrees to notify the BREEDER of any changes of address during the
PUPPY'S lifetime. NEW OWNER agrees not to do any extensive traveling with the PUPPY unless it is to the veterinarian until
fully vaccinated. If you choose to take your puppy places and the pup dies do to any contracted diseases, ChuppyLove
Chihuahuas' guarantee is null and void. Our guarantee does not cover Parvo. Parvo is very contagious even if given Neopar,
which last only 14 days so try not to take your puppy out till all vaccines are given. The NEW OWNER assumes the
responsibility to carry on with the appropriate vaccinations, exercise, and feeding schedule, as supplied by the BREEDER, and
the NEW OWNER agrees to maintain the PUPPY's health in good condition, and to provide yearly examinations, vaccinations,
heartworm test, and any other usual procedures necessary to assure good health of the PUPPY. It is the responsibility of the
NEW OWNER to assure that proper care is given should Hypoglycemia symptoms (low blood sugar) occur and the purchaser
agrees not to hold the BREEDER accountable at any time if a vet service is required to care for the sick PUPPY.

Deposits, Pricing & Delivery
A minimum $200.00 deposit is required to hold a puppy and is non-refundable and non-transferable should you decide
to change your mind. Should your puppy become unavailable due to illness or death while in my care, your deposit can
be returned or transferred to another available puppy or to a future litter. We feel that by the time you place a deposit
to hold a puppy, you are 100% sure about adopting a Chihuahua from us. Therefore, we will NOT refund any deposits
or payments just because you changed your mind! Please give serious thought to your decision to adopt a Chihuahua,
is it 15+ year commitment. When we receive your deposit for the puppy of your choice, we consider that puppy spoken
for and no other inquires can be made on a puppy with a deposit to hold. We don't accept deposits until after puppies
are 4 weeks of age and adoption fee and registration availability can change for any puppy without a deposit to hold.

California Code SB 914 ~ Effective Jan. 1,2006, makes it a crime to sell and transfer a dog less than 8 weeks of age to a purchaser unless
there is written authorization from a veterinarian. We don't feel it is safe for the pups to leave until they are over 8 to 12 weeks old.
Depending on size, some larger puppies can go to new homes sooner then smaller ones.
